[Bug Cup] Mosquito Yamada Mosquito
This is our original mug, which shows a close-up of the blood-sucking Aedes (Stegomyia) flavopictus mosquito and indicates the names of its representative body parts. The size is 8cm in diameter and 9cm in height.
About the Japanese mosquito
The Yamadashi mosquito is similar to the Asian tiger mosquito ( Aedes (Stegomyia) albopictus ), which is the most commonly seen mosquito in Japan during the daytime, but only a few people know that it is a closely related species. This species is more resistant to cold than the Asian tiger mosquito, and tends to be found in forests at high altitudes.
The Yamada Mosquito is different from the common Aedes mosquitoes that are all over the streets, and has the tenacity to withstand the cold. This mug was designed for our users who are happy to use a mug featuring this rare species of Yamada Mosquito.
