WHAT WE DO
FIELDWORKERS Co., Ltd. is a startup from the Nagasaki University Institute of Tropical Medicine that specializes in manufacturing products to combat sanitary pests that carry infectious diseases, such as mosquitoes and ticks.
Nagasaki University Institute of Tropical Medicine is the only public research institute in Japan that has been conducting infectious disease research for a long time since 1942, aiming to solve infectious disease problems. The wisdom of field research at this good old Institute of Tropical Medicine is one of the best in the world. With these roots, our company is incorporating new technologies and renovating research techniques and equipment. We aim to be a Japanese company that can be proud of the world by defeating infectious diseases caused by sanitary pests around the world.
PRODUCTS
We have been challenging ourselves to innovate field survey tools and research equipment using 3D printers. Many of the tools used for insect collection, specimen preparation, and specimen observation are classic, but our tools offer a slightly different feel and lead to problem solving.
