The life cycle of a bedbug

Hello everyone, today I'd like to tell you about the bed bugs we keep in our company.

But before that... Bedbugs can sometimes be found in products imported by individuals, so if you are concerned about this, we recommend placing the product in the freezer for at least 24 hours before opening it! (Of course, at your own risk!)

So let's talk about bedbugs, the creatures that so many of us find so disgusting. Let's take a look at the life cycle of these tiny creatures.

1. Eggs
A bed bug's life cycle begins with an egg. Female bed bugs lay between 5 and 12 eggs at a time. These eggs are very small, white, and about 1mm in size.

2. Larvae Stage
After hatching from the eggs, bed bugs become larvae. At this stage, they look like tiny versions of the adult bedbug. They develop by going through five molts.

3. Adult
After the final molt, the bedbug becomes an adult. Adult bedbugs are about 5-7mm in size and have a flattened oval shape. They are brownish in color, but turn reddish when they suck blood.

4. Life Cycle • Lifespan: Under the right conditions, bed bugs can live for 4-6 months.
• Diet: Bedbugs feed primarily on human blood.
• Activity: Mainly nocturnal, hides during the day.

5. Habitat
Bed bugs can be found hiding in beds, in crevices in furniture, in wall cracks, and even inside wall sockets! They like warm, dark places.

Bedbugs are a nuisance, but by understanding their ecology, you can take effective measures. It is important to keep the environment clean and check regularly. We will also feature measures for them in another article!
